A mystery Brit is waking up an astonishing £111 million richer after scooping Friday night’s EuroMillions jackpot – and they may not even know it yet.
The winning numbers in Friday’s draw were 11, 12, 15, 38 and 49, with Lucky Stars 10 and 12. National Lottery operator Allwyn confirmed a single UK ticket-holder matched all seven numbers to land the mammoth prize, but the winner has yet to come forward.
It’s the third time this year alone that a UK player has bagged the EuroMillions jackpot, continuing a remarkable run of luck for British ticket-holders in 2026.
Third UK win of the year
Andy Carter, senior winners’ adviser at Allwyn, said: “Wow, what fantastic news for a UK EuroMillions player tonight. One lucky ticket-holder has won the life-changing £111m super jackpot prize.”
He added that it followed a huge £181 million win by a single UK ticket-holder back on 10 March – the third-biggest prize in National Lottery history – and a £125 million jackpot shared between two UK winners and a French player on 21 April.
“Be sure to check your tickets and get in touch if you think you might be tonight’s lucky winner,” Carter urged, as first reported by the BBC.
It wasn’t just the jackpot winner celebrating on Friday night. Two other UK ticket-holders matched five main numbers and one Lucky Star, each picking up £256,117, while three more players matched the five main numbers to win £22,447 apiece, according to the Mirror.
How big is £111m in EuroMillions history?
While £111 million is a life-changing sum by anyone’s standards, it doesn’t come close to the biggest amounts ever scooped by British players. The record remains an anonymous winner’s £195.7 million haul from July 2022, followed by Gloucester couple Joe and Jess Thwaite’s £184.2 million win from May of that same year, as reported by the Sun.
EuroMillions draws take place every Tuesday and Friday across nine European countries, with the Daily Mail reporting that Friday’s draw saw 2.8 million players take part across the continent.
National Lottery winners typically have 180 days from the date of the draw to come forward and claim their prize, and Allwyn says all winners are kept anonymous by default unless they choose to go public.
What happens now
For now, the identity and location of the £111 million winner remains completely unknown. Allwyn is urging anyone who played Friday’s draw to double-check their ticket against the winning numbers before it’s too late.
With three jackpot wins for UK players already banked in 2026, National Lottery bosses will be hoping the lucky streak continues into the autumn draws. Anyone holding a ticket from Friday night’s draw is being told to check it as a matter of urgency.
